We’ve had team members reach new heights and earn exciting promotions, while welcoming many experienced team members to the journey.

Reaching an exciting Milestone

Aaron Cilia promoted to Executive Director (Affinity Malta)

Aaron joined Affinity in2024 as the Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer for Affinity Malta. Aaron brought a wealth of experience in the financial sector and since joining, has played a significant role in strengthening our compliance culture and practices in Malta. Aaron has worked closely with our Managing Director, Joanne, to provide clients with excellent service by strengthening our efficient on-boarding process to cater for our influx of new business in Malta. Aaron is currently broadening his expertise in cryptocurrency and as Executive Director, Aaron will continue to work closely with Joanne to provide support for managing the office and strategically guiding the company forwards.

Matteo Lapira promoted to Senior Client Administrator

Matteo joined the team in Malta in March 2023 and provides administrative support to our wide variety of clients. Matteo has demonstrated a willingness to learn from the outset and developed his knowledge in x sectors and strives to exceed client expectations. He provides a personable service based upon attention to detail and client satisfaction.

Aidan Caddick promoted to Senior Client Administrator

Aidan joined Affinity in 2023 as a Client Administrator in the Isle of Man. Prior to this, Aidan held over four years of experience in the corporate and trust industry, specifically serving High-Net-Worth clients. During his time at Affinity, Aidan has delivered outstanding client service and has expanded his expertise into the gaming sector. Aidan has assisted clients in a variety of innovative gaming business models and has continuously demonstrated a can-do attitude to learn and expand his knowledge, and expertise to support his clients’ evolving needs.

Every Adventure starts with a single step

Many new team members have recently joined Adventure and taken the first step on their journey at Affinity.  Our administration teams have grown significantly across the Group, and our Compliance team in the Isle of Man, as our client portfolio continues to grow.

Isle of Man – New starters

Ellie McPhee – Client Administrator

Ellie joined the administration team in the Isle of Man, bringing a wealth of experience in banking. Ellie’s previous experience in a client-facing role aided her natural transition into the CSP world, and she has taken to assisting a broad range of clients excellently.

Donna Brown – Compliance Manager

Donna joined as a Compliance Manager in the Isle of Man and supports Head of Group Compliance to manage the compliance function and ensure compliance standards are maintained in the Isle of Man.

Romane Van Broukhoven – eGaming Compliance Administrator

Romane also joined the compliance team in the Isle of Man and is responsible for an array of compliance duties specifically to our eGaming clients. Romane has demonstrated a can-do attitude and is a natural fit in the team.

Mavis Nyawai – Senior Client Accountant

Mavis joined the accounting team in the Isle of Man in spring 2025. As an FCCA qualified accountant with over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance, Mavis has broad experience in our key sectors, including 6 years in the gaming industry, five years in accounting in the yachting and aviation and two years of audit experience.

Malta – New starters

Luca Fenech – Client Administrator

Luca joined Affinity in Malta in the spring of 2025 as a Client Administrator. Luca has demonstrated his ability to build strong client relationships and deliver excellent client service. Luca is committed to supporting our growing client portfolio in Malta with professionalism and care.

Krista Fenech - Client Administrator

Krista joined Affinity in July 2020 as an Assistant Client Administrator. Krista’s spent several years working part time, assisting in the day-to-day administration of the clients and helping in the office with what needs to be done in various departments. In 2025, we are delighted that Krista has joined us full-time.

Jennifer Alvarez – Assistant Manager

Jennifer joined Affinity in Malta in early 2025 as an Assistant Manager. Jennifer has experience in accounting and previously held roles in financial control and auditing. Jennifer provides accounting support and guidance, supporting our growth in Malta and the Mediterranean.

Cannabis Europa – Koko and Kristy

Our team returned to the Barbican centre, London, to represent Affinity on a stand at Cannabis Europa for the second year in a row. Koko and Kristy have exceptional knowledge in the cannabis sector on the Isle of Man and were there to support businesses in the space looking for a new home.

‍SBC Summit – Gary

Our Group CCO, Gary Harrison, recently traveled to Malta, the heart of the European eGaming industry, for the SBC Summit. There, he did what he does best... showcasing how our bespoke services can accelerate eGaming growth. Gary connected with peers across the sector, reinforcing his commitment to delivering tailored, high-impact solutions. With a global network of industry partners, Gary ensures we're always at the forefront of innovation, shaking hands, and driving opportunity at every show.

Connect Football – Andy, Kurt and Adam

Our Group CEO, Andy, Sports Manager, Adam, and Client Administrator in Malta, Kurt, all headed to Paris in April to attend Connect Football. Connect Football supports young athletes who are trying to progress their career in sports, through recruitment and training camps led by UEFA coaches. They also provide support with all aspects of being athlete, such as mental well-being and nutrition. Affinity Sports sponsored their recent scouting days and our team headed to the event to show their support!

Trusted Advisor – Adam  

Our Affinity Sports Manager, Adam, attended a Trusted Advisor event in London in June. Bringing together an elite group of entertainment, music & pro sports advisors, Adam was there to network and engage with members to discuss the current sports industry and share our offerings for professional athletes.

Supporting our local community

An 85-mile adventure…

Team Affinity showed their support to the walkers who took on the Isle of Man Parish Walk this year. The walk totals an incredible 85 miles, covering all the Parish’s in the Isle of Man. Our group of volunteers spent the day handing out supplies for the walkers and a big burst of enthusiasm and encouragement to keep on going!

Since establishing our presence in the U.S, we have made significant progress in our key sectors, including private wealth, sports, and yachting. Our Group leaders have spent considerable time organically growing our offices in South Florida and South Dakota, and network of trusted intermediaries.
