About Colin

Colin joined Affinity in October 2015, prior to joining Affinity he held senior roles with various corporate service providers across the Isle of Man.  With over 25 years experience within the International finance industry he has a broad knowledge of many areas of corporate and trust law, structuring and administration. Colin is responsible for the Statutory Department in the Isle of Man and also acts as the Data Protection Officer.

As a member of the International Compliance Association he holds the ICA International Diploma in Compliance, the ICSA Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration and also the Isle of Man Certificate in Offshore Administration (Company and Trust Administration).

In January 2019 Colin passed the IBITBQ Certified EU General Data Protection Regulation Foundation (EU GDPR F) and the IBITBQ Certified EU General Data Protection Regulation Practitioner (EU GDPR P) qualifications.  This further strengthens his knowledge in GDPR and his position as Affinity DPO.

Hobbies

Colin has two grown up children and is an avid fan of blues and rock music and also likes the great outdoors, especially enjoying hill walking and camping.  Colin is also a football fan and follows Queens Park Rangers FC.
